About Damdasaviya International Foundation
Damsaviya International Foundation, inspired by Buddhist philosophy, is committed to fostering harmony, compassion, and the well-being of all sentient beings. Guided by the principles of dharma, we strive to create a righteous society by addressing global and local challenges. Our initiatives focus on preserving cultural heritage, empowering rural communities, and promoting sustainable development through temple restoration, vocational training, and Dhamma education.
Established in 2012 and registered in 2013, Damsaviya began its journey in Sri Lanka’s underserved regions, expanding to uplift temples, villages, and underprivileged communities. Rooted in Theravada Buddhist values, we work to nurture ethical living, compassion, and interconnectedness, aiming to build a world where all beings thrive in peace and harmony.
Bring forth a thought of a nation with a social, economic, political and cultural identity within each person and to develop the ability to live in the society with good personality, pride and self-respect devoid of any ethnic religion or cast differences through collective participation and to direct to achieve the following objectives.
